OCB Brand cigarette papers (ungummed).
Slip one paper under pad, then close key on paper to absorb excess water. Open key to remove wet paper.
Cut off a narrow wedge-shaped strip to test how well the pads seat. Place the strip under a pad, then close the key and gently pull the paper out to feel the “grip” or friction of the paper between the pad and the tone hole. We recommend McFarland’s Oboe Adjustment Guide to learn which adjustment screw regulates which key.
